Seether: Shaun Morgan

Coming from South Africa, Seether was picked up by Wind Up Records and instantly pushed to success: landing a spot on the Ozzfest tour and releasing an EP. Their first album, Disclaimer, came out in the Summer of 2002 and was a hit. For quite some time, lead singer Shaun Morgan was in a relationship with Amy Lee of Evanescence. They even did a duet version of “Broken” which wound up on the “Punisher” soundtrack along with a couple other of Seether’s songs. A continuation of their first album was released called Disclaimer II, Morgan felt that he needed to polish off their first album as he explained on the band’s online message boards. In May of this year they released their second album, “Karma & Effect”.

Anywho, like I said before in the forums, the band is ok. I like how they represent south africa, which is where I was born, and the toon itself is awsome. Tres Bien, LaFlamme!

I love Seether sooooooooooooooo much, they’ve been my favorite band for three years.
I persnally think Shaun’s the greatest singer/guitarist,Dale is the best bassist,and John is the greatest drummer in the world!!
haha
And in all I think Seether is just such a great band.
I also like Broken, but I think it has to be my least favorite song from them, even though I like it, just that Amy was kind of rude to Shaun, letting out all the bad things in their relationship and putting into the public like that.
I still love the song, I like it better when they origionally did it without Amy though, not to be mean to her I still like her a little….
