Guest Art: Foo Fighters (Dave Grohl)

I like it. Simple, but that’s not nescessarily a bad thing. “tis a gift to be simple…” I like the expressian a lot too, he looks high.

i think this is an excellent rendition of the rockstar, very simple yet highly original, although i do feel some colour could perhaps have livened up this loud character a little. otherwise, keep them cumin!!!

Golly, wat a striking resemblance. The use of the black and white palette really enhances the asthestic appearance of the incresingly popular ‘king of rock’. I would however suggest that the illustrator introduced more defined features to really enhance the bohemian vibe.

wowzers! wat a remarkable depiction of the elucide dave grohl, as one of my childhood heroes i often created my own characetures of this hardcore rock idol, but am crestafallen and my love of cartoons has been rekindled with this marvellous creation. the original technique really grasps my passion for the foofighters and allows me to visualize his melancholly, toon face as i ‘jam’ to his sweet music. thank you…
