This ain’t no summer vacation here, we are still kicking out new stuff.

We mentioned some new contributing RockToons artists around here and want to introduce the first one of 2006, meet Aizat R. He’s actually been around RockToons for a long time having contributed guest art way back in 2002 and again in 2004. These days he’s taken his art to new levels and has a great stylized style, we’re happy to have him as a contributor. Check out his first RockToon offering of metalcore band Avenged Sevenfold.

Jovani already has another toon for our viewing pleasure, this time it’s Gravy Train!!!! Not yelling at you, that’s the band’s name, an exclamation point for each member.

Jovani likes some very interesting bands and this group is no exception. They have a variation of funky music stylings about some entertaining topics, headed by singer Chunx the original lineup also consisted of members Funx, Hunx and Drunx. Later Drunx left the band and Junx joined in on guitar.

The return of new toons!

Along with us coming out of darkness comes a toon from the deepest darkest corners of German Goth. Jovani has a fun new toon of Sopor Aeternus.

RockToons now has a LiveJournal feed. If you have an account you can subscribe to the feed here and not miss any new toon updates.

RockToons also has an RSS feed for those checking for site updates using RSS readers like Bloglines.

Apologies for the interruption in our regular programming around here. Suppose it was our Spring Break. We have a lot of artwork lined up to share including new RockToons artists and we’ll get that started again right away.

Part of keeping regular updates is having some guest art to share. There have been a lot of great guest artists and we are always looking for more, in addition to keeping eyes open on those that would like to be regular RockToons contributing artists. If you have some toons you would like to see featured here before thousands of viewers then head on over to the guest art page for information on submitting guest art.

Also please give us a bit more time to get the gallery back in order. You can still browse most of the toons, they just link to old pages.

The RockToons Gallery is once again undergoing some changes. Currently you will find a list of links to the old RockToon pages in the gallery. Hopefully we will have it fully operational and all RockToons back online within the next few days.
